About Hotel Frederikshavn – who we are and how we work

Hotel Frederikshavn is a 100 % Christian, non-profit hotel.
This means that we are driven by a value-based purpose – not by profit maximization. Our focus is people: our guests, our employees and the community we are a part of.

Our Christian foundation is not expressed through demands or exhortations, but through the way we work and meet each other. We believe that values should be felt in everyday life – in the tone, in the decisions and in the way we take responsibility.

Our work is based on the stewardship principle:
That we each manage the responsibilities entrusted to us with care, integrity and respect. We take ownership of our tasks – and ask for help when something is beyond our control.

Our values

Our daily work is anchored in five core values:

  • Proximity – we are there for each other and our guests
  • Presence – we meet people with attention, not haste
  • Heat – we create an environment where you feel welcome and seen
  • Confidence – we trust each other and take responsibility
  • Generosity – in action, in tone and in the way we collaborate

These values are not symbols on a wall, but guidelines for our everyday lives. They shape our leadership, our collaboration and our expectations of each other.

At Hotel Frederikshavn we work professionally, structured and with clear frameworks – but always with people at the center. Welcome Home is not only our brand to guests, but also the culture we want internally.
